FZRC (Sarasota, FL)
Erik, a test driver for Brushless Hobbies (BH), PLUS he is a local racer that I talk with almost every time I'm at FZRC in Sarasota, FL., after talking to Stan (owner of Brushless Hobbies) about "Make a RC Wish", Stan sent Erik one of BH 120 amp ESC's for "MRCW". Erik gave this to me today.
The last time we had a MAJOR RC organization donate to "MRCW" was December 2008.
THANK YOU Stan and Erik!!!

Now to find a "MRCW" kid ready for a MAJOR speed upgrade!!!!!

Received a Traxxas Slash and a Rustler in a box!!!!!
Ordering parts right and left trying to get one ready in two weeks.
Found a set of wheels from the 4wd Slash in a bag! SWEEEEEEET! A full set of wheels that don't need to be ordered.
As soon as the steering linkage gets here and installed. It will be what motor and esc to put in these that will best suit a kid!

Hoping the web site server problem will be solved soon so "Finn's" web page can be uploaded.

HMIRCR (Sarasota Square Mall)
Was at Hobby Marketplace Indoor R/C Raceway for their Sat night race. A racer that was pitting next to me had broken the steering linkage to his Traxxas 2wd Slash. he said loud enough for me to hear "Hope they have parts!".
I had just put a set of Alm w/bearing steering linkage in my pit box just in case someone needed an upgrade. :-)
To see the look in his eyes and I handed him a $32 upgrade for NOTHING!!!!
Explained to him who and what "MRCW" is and that he was a recipient of another's racers willingness to BLESS another racer. He raced in the same class as I did and finished 4th.

FZRC (Sarasota)
A young racer was having a problem with his charger. He said it worked just fine last night!!!
Asked if I could have a look. The wires where it entered the plug that plugged into the power converter, (120 to 12) had come loose BUT looked ok. Asked him if the cord was like a computer cord, he said yes. "MRCW" had a extra in case we would had a cord problem. Gave him the cord and said don't want it back as long as he got rid of the old cord.
Didn't want the bad cord to cause future problems for him.
