HMIRCR (Sarasota Square Mall)

Was at Hobby Marketplace Indoor R/C Raceway for their Sat night race. A racer that was pitting next to me had broken the steering linkage to his Traxxas 2wd Slash. he said loud enough for me to hear "Hope they have parts!".

I had just put a set of Alm w/bearing steering linkage in my pit box just in case someone needed an upgrade. :-)

To see the look in his eyes and I handed him a $32 upgrade for NOTHING!!!!

Explained to him who and what "MRCW" is and that he was a recipient of another's racers willingness to BLESS another racer. He raced in the same class as I did and finished 4th.

Sunday (7/1/2012) at FZRC in Sarasota, FL a young man (Finn) received a Traxxas Slash 2wd with bat's, charger, wheels, tools, and parts, from "Make a RC Wish". He finished 3rd in ST class, no NOVICE class for this kid!!!!

 Got an email while on vacation. :-)

A racer was going to sell his RC stuff then thought of "MRCW".

Just picked up a 2wd Slash, 4wd Slash, Spek radio's, tools, tires, batteries and charger.

Now to find a couple kids!!!! :-)

FZRC (Sarasota)

A young racer was having a problem with his charger. He said it worked just fine last night!!!

Asked if I could have a look. The wires where it entered the plug that plugged into the power converter, (120 to 12) had come loose BUT looked ok. Asked him if the cord was like a computer cord, he said yes. "MRCW" had a extra in case we would had a cord problem. Gave him the cord and said don't want it back as long as he got rid of the old cord.

Didn't want the bad cord to cause future problems for him.

FZRC (Satasota)

A first time racer (Steve) was having gearing problems with ECX Torment SC truck. The part shop at FZ didn't have parts for this truck. So "MRCW" stepped up to do what we could. Fitted a AE 87 tooth spur gear and slipper pads to Steve's SC and he was ready to race!!!

Had a look at his setup and make a couple changes which helped the way it turned, jumped and drove in a straight line!

FIRCC (Plant City)

Friday night under the lights with AC!!!! :-)

Connor needed to borrow a Lipo battery to race, he has a couple 3300 nihm's BUT they aren't RACE level batteries!!!

Before the B-main "MRCW" gave Conner a 5000 20c Lipo battery, he's looking to get a charger for this SOON!!!!

Darrell is still sick, but getting better, so he wasn't able to be at FIRCC to race. Sent, by Connor, a 4500 25c Lipo to Darrell so he would have a RACE level battery also.

Last Friday at FIRCC Kenny showed up with a RC10B4 that he got from ebay. Kenny has been racing a Traxxas 4x4 Slash! 8-)

The B4 just won't turn or jump as he thought it should. I asked if I could have a look. About 15 seconds in to checking the set up, I had seven bits he needed to change!!! Kenny had time to do six of them, by the mains he had the B4 in the top three!!!!

"MRCW" doesn't always gives a RC away. Parts and an assist is always there for any who are in need.
